A surreal moment
That lasts for a day.
A lapse of time,
With nothing to show for it
Except the feeling of strange
Coursing within.
The dreams will be vivid
And the night long,
For more than one reason-
A molecular battle
An empty grasp,
Words of truth
Yet to be registered,
A realization
Combined with
Determination,
And the meditation
Of future events.
