"If the whole universe has no meaning, we should never have found out that it has no meaning: just as, if there were no light in the universe and therefore no creatures with eyes, we should never know it was dark. Dark would be without meaning."

"Too true it is that life passes so quickly for you, so slowly for me, that in this great universe we see only through our own eyes and none others, not because we can't, but because we wont."

Our Universe at Home Within a Larger Universe?

ScienceDaily (Apr. 7, 2010) — Could our universe be located within the interior of a wormhole which itself is part of a black hole that lies within a much larger universe?

Such a scenario in which the universe is born from inside a wormhole (also called an Einstein-Rosen Bridge) is suggested in a paper from Indiana University theoretical physicist Nikodem Poplawski in Physics Letters B. The final version of the paper was available online March 29 and will be published in the journal edition April 12.
Poplawski takes advantage of the Euclidean-based coordinate system called isotropic coordinates to describe the gravitational field of a black hole and to model the radial geodesic motion of a massive particle into a black hole.
In studying the radial motion through the event horizon (a black hole's boundary) of two different types of black holes -- Schwarzschild and Einstein-Rosen, both of which are mathematically legitimate solutions of general relativity -- Poplawski admits that only experiment or observation can reveal the motion of a particle falling into an actual black hole. But he also notes that since observers can only see the outside of the black hole, the interior cannot be observed unless an observer enters or resides within.
"This condition would be satisfied if our universe were the interior of a black hole existing in a bigger universe," he said. "Because Einstein's general theory of relativity does not choose a time orientation, if a black hole can form from the gravitational collapse of matter through an event horizon in the future then the reverse process is also possible. Such a process would describe an exploding white hole: matter emerging from an event horizon in the past, like the expanding universe."
A white hole is connected to a black hole by an Einstein-Rosen bridge (wormhole) and is hypothetically the time reversal of a black hole. Poplawski's paper suggests that all astrophysical black holes, not just Schwarzschild and Einstein-Rosen black holes, may have Einstein-Rosen bridges, each with a new universe inside that formed simultaneously with the black hole.
"From that it follows that our universe could have itself formed from inside a black hole existing inside another universe," he said.
By continuing to study the gravitational collapse of a sphere of dust in isotropic coordinates, and by applying the current research to other types of black holes, views where the universe is born from the interior of an Einstein-Rosen black hole could avoid problems seen by scientists with the Big Bang theory and the black hole information loss problem which claims all information about matter is lost as it goes over the event horizon (in turn defying the laws of quantum physics).
This model in isotropic coordinates of the universe as a black hole could explain the origin of cosmic inflation, Poplawski theorizes.
Poplawski is a research associate in the IU Department of Physics. He holds an M.S. and a Ph.D. in physics from Indiana University and a M.S. in astronomy from the University of Warsaw, Poland.

Jabberwocky

'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.
"Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!"
He took his vorpal sword in hand:
Long time the manxome foe he sought
So rested he by the Tumtum tree,
And stood a while in thought.
And, as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,
And burbled as it came!
One two! One two! And through and through
The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went galumphing back.
"And hast thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
Oh frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!"
He chortled in his joy.
'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

Life

A thousand years is but an instant. There's nothing new, nothing different. Same pattern, over and over. The same clouds, the same music, the same as I felt an hour or an eternity ago. There's nothing here for me now, nothing at all. Now I remember, this happened to me before, this is why I left. You have begun to find your answers. Although it will seem difficult, the rewards will be great. Exercise your human mind as fully as possible, knowing that it is only an exercise. Build beautiful artifacts, solve problems, explore the secrets of the physical universe, savor the input from all the senses, feel the joy, and sorrow, the laughter, the empathy, compassion, and tuck these emotional memories in your travel bag. I remember where I came from, and how I became a human, why I hung around. And now, my final departure schedule: this way out, escaping velocity, not just eternity, but infinity...

Breakfast Burritos

Below is the link to the breakfast burrito blog, just started it and do not have any official reviews up yet, though i do have a review noted on my phone. Will get it up soon.

Breakfast Burrito Critic

"In the very first moment, all is known and understood. We catch a glimpse of all past and future happenings, good and bad, happy and sad. Infinity stands before us, behind us, and we exist as a single entity with the universe, within the universe. There is no experienceING, no discoverING, for we are the experience, we are a part of the discovery. That moment passes, and only then do we become human."

I am working on a couple of projects right now, verrrrry excited though time always seems to be an issue. And the fact that there are so many other things to do as well. I am starting a new blog, since this one obviouly has no direction or true purpose. HOWEVER, I have also decided that I WILL give this blog direction and purpose as well. This will contain dream journal updates, story ideas, links to stories and scripts, among any other creative ensemble that happens to come together within the crevices of my mind. Starting NOW.

Idea:

I collaborate with a friend to create a story. The way that  this will work will be as follows: One of us will begin the story in their manner of writing, focusing on one or many characters and will take the story to whatever depths they choose. Prior to this, we will have agreed upon a point in time with plot that he will end his part of the story on, and I will begin mine. that way the stories link, though the ideas and content might be infinitely different. I could either take his character and continue forward with my style and direction, or the point where he leaves off can be a point where his character and mine intereact and I continue the story through the eyes of this other character. So many ways to go about this. Would be even more fantastic if there were more than two writes, all taking a piece of this story and creating it their own way. Will update with progress.

Burrito In My Heart

I went to a show last night (Saturday) at Jose's Underground in Cannery Row, Monterey. The first band consisted of three girls and a guy, the guy being my friend's little brother who played the drums. They were in high school but they were pretty cool, real nervous and such but they rocked it a bit, though I am unsure of their name. The next band, called Fighting Chance, hails from San Luis Obispo and were really good. The final band was Monsters are not Myth and they were pretty good too. Half way during their set they had a cowbell challenge which I participated in. I basically had to bang a drum stick against a cow bell when they paused during playing and bang it harder than my challenger, which happened to be my pal Sergio. I was also given the tiny cow bell which was hard to bang, while Serg got a huge cow bell. I started rockin' hard but then I tapered off and Sergio won. We both got cd's and he got a shirt. The last song in their set was titled Burrito In My Heart and was about delicious burritos from a spot near where they were from.

What do you think about this - so many people have favorite sports teams right? Well, I have friends that root for many different teams than I do, and I was thinkin' to myself about what it would be like if I were to ONLY shave when one of my teams were to win, and could could continue shaving as normal until they lost, in which case I would have to wait until they won again. That way, for people who know which teams I root for, they would know whether my teams were winning or on a losing streak of some sort.. Hmm.. Kinda doesn't make sense, but a thought nonetheless.

Numero Uno

I have a friend, a great friend, that just recently moved to the area that I've been living for the last 6 months. I moved here after college to begin a career, my life A.P. (After Poly - that's Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo). Well, just yesterday we were hanging out and she mentioned that she has a blog that she's been doing for a little while and recommended that I start one, maybe add the link to the Dram Journal that I've been keeping off and on for the last 4 years. I thought about it, and mere moments ago decided that it could be a good idea, that it could be pretty fun. I love writing anyways, got some good stuff to say most of the time, my problem really comes down to how much I'll update this thing. I mean, I definitely want to do it consistently, but I am very easily sidetracked and could see this being something that tapers off over time. But we'll try it out.

So the customized part of my URL: Create Infinite Dreams. Eh, no real meaning, but separately each word is one of my favorite words, top 5 for sure haha.

I don't know how this thing posts yet, but I am assuming that below this post you will find a link to a dream journal. That would be mine, feel free to check it out. I only have 160 or so dreams in it, it's just tough for me to wake up everyday and try writing the full length of the dreams that I usually have. I dream every night and most of my dreams are complex and intense, and it would take me hours to sit and get all of the detail I remember down on paper. I wish I would just suck it up and write down every single one of my dreams - I have had some amazing ones that I've now forgotten most of because I was too lazy to write it down, and that just sucks. And I haven't written one in the journal since August, just plain ridiculous, kinda makes me mad. Oh well, maybe this will help motivate me to get my dreams written down.
