Hide the insecurities,
Wear a painted smile
Act like it doesn't matter.
Because it doesn't.

You learn to laugh
For reals,
Transcendence
And Peace
Within.
Until then,
Pull the hoodie over your head
Zip it halfway up,
Wear shiny costumes and
Sparkle in the sun-
